Hello friends,
In 2008 I had a "road to Damascus experience." My eyes were opened to the thousands of men and women living on the streets of San Francisco, many without shoes. I thought to myself, "how can this be in this day and age?" In response, I started SHOES with no more than a bag full of tennis shoes, socks and a few protein bars. Since that time SHOES has helped over a thousand poor and needy within the Bay Area with food, clothes and shoes.
In 2012 SHOES expanded into Los Angeles, as I moved south to attend Grad School at USC. Thankfully, I was able to create a network of volunteer's within my new USC family and build upon the success SHOES enjoyed in the Bay Area.
