SHOES is where the "rubber meets the road". Our Mission hasn't changed since 2008 when our founder ventured into San Francisco's Tenderloin district with a bag of shoes, socks and protein bars. Many charities and groups wishing to help the homeless will often drive into the Tenderloin and unload a van full of clothes and food. Unfortunately, the most aggressive benefit by pushing their way to the front of the line, while the weak and meek get nothing. When these groups finish their work they often leave a mess behind, along with the very people they intended to help. SHOES, on the other hand, seeks out the elderly, handicap, and weak.
